I agree it does have a nice shape, and the simple shape works well. I think it would make more sense to put some of the controls down the side of the display panel instead of down the side of the speaker panel, this way the unit would work as a hand held device, for example changing the volume dial with your thumb while holding it in your palm. You may even want to think about switching the positions of the speaker and the display. If the display was in the position of the speaker then you could see the display easier from a distance.
I hope my suggestions make sense. great work tho, good luck with the modeling.

Great work Lisa you know how like this one :) Just make sure you make the shape out of foam as interesting as it looks here...
