Shower Radio Sketches

ok for my shower radio design i have decided to use a suction cap at the back to hold the radio onto the tiles. I have designed the body of the radio so water flows off it smoothly and away from the tuning and volume controls at the bottom. The batteries will be located inside the middle of the radio so they are protected from the water. The front of the radio can be lifted off to change the batteries. The clock on the front is a also a shower timer with waterproof buttons. I am now currently working on the overall look of the radio and its contols.

How is the speaker itself protected? because from what I can see it is protected with some mesh or somehting, which im sure would protect it from water, but I think then the water would get caught between the gaps in the mesh and the sound will be muffled. Perhaps you could maybe move the speaker underneith or something? because i dont think the controls would need to be protected from the water more than the speaker would need to be?

As with the previous comment i also would be interested to know how the speaker is protected. Another thing i notices was although you state the battery is well protected in the middle of the product. the hatch with the edge along the top ridge could potentially let funnel water in. nice work tho.. i wish i had one :P
