Week 3 Sketches

This radio is disguised in a handbag. This would come in handy when you don't want to carry around a huge bag, but want to be able to listen to music and carry small items. The bottom third of the bag houses the radio components. A thin piece of fabric covers these parts, hiding them from view, which allows the top part of the bag to be used.

good to see you're thinking about the inside, and how it is used and made.

Your model is going to take a little more thought because ideally it will incorporate some kind of fabric.

For refinement, I'd like to see you explore other, less stereotypically 'handbag' shapes. It can still be useful for carrying things in and not look exactly like a handbag. Inspiration might come from other luggage, camera bags with straps etc. Time to explore those options to best carry off your idea.

Hi, I really like the idea of a handbag design. However, I think it would be difficult to fit within our overall dimension. This design would be great if you can put the radio in any bag.

i really like the clutch bag style of the radio. its really original and innovative because of the amount of woman that use bags now days. but just concerned about the size?
