final

my final consists of a sliding effect. this is to ensure the that inner compartments and functions are protected when it is placed in the consumer's pocket. the speaker is also placed on top to enable maximum sound travel through to the client's pocket. the tuning and volume control is placed near the digital display, so that it is within thumb reach of the user. overall i'm happy with the design. it's user friendly and very simple.

Hey Annie, love this design, very sleek and portable device. Would appeal to a lot of people i think. I'm not a big fan of the colour but if you're targeting an older market then i understand. The radio is very portable but I reckon it would be a bit fiddly trying to tune to stations and change volume over such a small area. This isn't a major deal though maybe you could make the whole centrepiece rotate somehow or have a sliding tune around the speaker. Great idea though and nice sketch too.

This is an excellent pocket design! The curved sides would make it easy to slide in and out of the pocket. As Jonathon said I don't really like the colour. Maybe if the indent was coloured or had a matt texture it would add some variety. However having it all black does make it look very sleek.
