Radio Concept Development

This concept of a revolving speaker for stationary use and a sleek and ergonomic design for portable use has been re-worked. The radio is designed to look stylish in any environment and offers an innovative way of altering the volume and frequency. The radio come with a threaded mount for stationary use, the mount is weighted at one end so as to keep radio perpendicular. The radio attaches to the mount via the thread on the inside of the volume control, This is when the revolving speaker comes into its own to offer an aesthetic appearance as well as providing a functional way of directing sound. I'm thinking of incorporating a click mechanism to turn the radio on and off instead of using a standard switch, maybe between the two pieces of the radio.

Interesting...I like the idea of the threaded mount that you could attach. However, is the mount going to remain a plain cylinder? I think that it may have some potential.

You could also have a locking mechanism so that the speaker doesn't move around when the radio is in your pocket. I like the slight curve of the shape; I imagine it will be a bit more comfortable in your pocket.

Hey mate.. love how you have changed the design. a few small things. 1, would the rotating section be a problem in transit? how tough would it be because rotating on a single axes would be tough over a prolonged period of time.. 2, with the tune or volume control on the corner. wouldnt this easily be changed by accident. just a few small things to think about. big change but i like it. well done.
