Toy Concept

This is my first concept, hopefully you can read my messy writing on my design to see what it is all about. It is essentially a children's toy uses to find what the child does well in. It is able to be played with Musically, Mathematically, Physically and Artistically.

Seems you have thought this out quite a bit. If its a toy that is to be played by a child, I'm just wondering by what criteria are they tested by. And how do you determine they are good at maths or art?

Granted, there might be something to do with patterns and the like, but it sounds like it measures curiosity of a child more than anything.

It is up to the parent to observe how the child is using the toy. After reading the accompanying book, they should be able to look for certain habits in their child's playing actions. A child will tend to play with a toy in one way more than another.

I'm concerned about the usability of the toy - it's admittedly tricky to find a meadium between enabling play, and being able to read a measurement off the toy - I think it would be good to explore some further interaction ideas.
