Military Stress Device

Well here's a concept for my military stress device (yet to be named!)

Through monitoring heart rate, blood pressure and body temperature via a glove fitted with receptors, military commanders will have a better understanding of how their soldiers are actually coping on the field. This data will then be sent to a main receiver, where the stress levels of each soldier are worked out.

Details of the glove itself are on the sketch...hopefully my writing isnt too messy!

Hi, Wow ur glove is very similar in function to my idea of a Pilot's Combat helmet. It's good how you have identified the various indicators which would all play a part in giving a stress reading. Maybe you can refine the detectors a little.. but yeah good stuff!

Hey Jessica.

I think a glove is a fantastic idea because it does not hinder a soldiers ability to move whilst they are in combat but more importantly does not add to the already large amount of equipment they carry. Maybe incorporating on the back side of the glove a watch like display that sits comfortably giving a soldier the ability to quickly read their stress level and allowing them to assess the situation giving them an indication of how they can work at an optimum level.

The glove idea is interesting, but I disagree with Joseph - there might be other ways to measure the vital signs that are less intrustive. It would be good to see some options in the other concepts.
