Laura

My original concept was to create a device which measured an employee's or potential employee's level of loyalty. But I had some major problems finding quick ways to get an assessment of come of the traits I needed to measure. So I came up with a device which measures judgement, length of relationship and enthusiasm for the job.

Length of relationship is entered in a scale. A verbal or written scenario test is conducted which questions applicable to their roll. The person is scored from zero to ten and that's also entered in the scale. The version is asked to wear a wrist strap and speak about what they like about their roll or a roll their going for. The strap has a microphone to measure fluctuations in voice and a heart rate monitor to measure fluctuations in heart rate. Both of these are indicative of enthusiasm.

Each factor is allocated either red, green or blue. The higher the reading, the greater the intensity of the colour. These are imputed onto a Venn diagram and the person is allocated the colour produced in the centre. The colour represents a wide range of traits. The diagram can also be read to reveal the results of the individual tests, and the device can print out a copy.
I'm sure many of you graphics enthusiasts are familiar with the RGB colour mode but, just for good measure, here's a diagram. This shows red, green and blue at full intensity.

Laura, this is perhaps getting a little complex? So many inputs... However, the reporting lights system is an innovative method for weighting the different attributes in a visual manner. The design of the device need a little work - it's looks a bit like an intimidating lie detector at the moment.
