hi guys, this is the stage in where i'm at... so the model have to slide up but in the moment i'm still in the stage in making the hinge how which is hard coz it is so thin. anyway i haven't decide for the colour as well... maybe black?
hey, i can see what it'll look like i think but when i was looking for magnets for a model of mine officeworks has a whole bunch of hinges and i'm pretty sure i saw some really small ones. Black or silver i reckon would look really good as a final colour if you polished them up aswell to look like plastic. -Nev
Since you've already started with making the hinge, I think you should continue with it, but I agree with Nev that buying a small hinge will probably work just as well and be less of a headache. I think a glossy neutral (grey, black, white, silver) finish will look nice on the piece.
