model update

Hey guys, this is what I have worked up to for my model and a quick sketch of how the whole thing works. I went around the problem of hygiene vs ease of washing by having 2 detachable halves for the sleeve. I also plan to have a stopper at the end of the sleeve where a stack of the detection strips are placed against. Every time the dipstick is pushed inside the sleeve all the way to the end, the topmost strip has adhesives on top where it sticks to the dipstick.

hey sunny, i like how you have solved this issue. Would the strip system be similar to that of the listerene packs you can buy?? One question though once a strip has been taken does it come off in the testing or do you have to remove it?? because if it stays on wont there be a big back log of old strips still attached. I like the form of the sleeve by the way, its very simple and very easy to use. I need one of these for my trip at the end of the year, i dont really want kathmandu belly.

hey man.

what materials are you going to use? plastic? and how many spare strips are in the case? coz you don't want it to be too bulky, but at the same time you want one casing to last over the whole trip for breakfast, lunch and dinner each day...

such a neat idea though.

Hi Sunny,
really good solution to the problem but I am curious as to how the strips are attached to each other without falling out the case and how they will attach to the unit. If the are stuck together with solvent then they may not stick to the unit depending on the tack of the solvents.
