model progression

hey guys this is where my model is currently at. i've had a bit of trouble finding appropriate materials to use hence the lack of progression. this is PVC piping that we moulded by heating it up. I've got to add a lot of bog to this and then get to painting it. I'll also have to make another version of the model.

I assume this model is only for visuals?

The edges of the pipe are looking a little sharp, so you might like to sand that down.

Otherwise, the shape is quite minimal and gets the job done.

And don't forget your name Grace.

Hi grace,
the model looks like it's on it's way to completion.
have you tried looking up bent plywood? they make pretty extraordinary organic shapes. not too sure if it's real expensive etc but you might like to take that into consideration for the curved bits in your model.

hey grace. One thing you could try is this rubber stuff they sell at clark rubber. It is foam on the inside and then rubber on the outside and you buy it in a strip. It is really strechy and you can sand and cut it really easily. I think i have a bit at home i could bring it in to show you what i mean on monday. I would just give you the stuff but its only a small piece. Hope it is not to late, i was in there today and i just remembered.

Clark rubber, were not just foam and rubber.
