progress or not

yes got a fare bit to do. but basicly making my form out of wood then painting i have drilled the whole and made the workings for the pivoting cylinder the rest of the making is purely the form so hopefully all goes well.

Hey Jason, don't worry I've got a afair bit of work to do as well, might see you in workshop a lot this week, lol. Anyway at least you've got your pivoting hole set, but just make sure when your defining (sanding) your form that the pivoting hole stays centre otherwise the whole model will be thrown off. I reckon you could just hop onto the larger bobbin sander to get the curved underside and then simply follow the same curve on the other side using the disc sander. Shouldn't take too long. Are you just going to use a pin for the pivot or a screw of some sort? Good luck with it though, should look nice upon completion.

love your marker rendering layout page . is that one of your final presentations ?

your shape seems pretty complicated to make ~ the concave and convex part of it, pretty sure u can do it mate . it will look awesome at the end
