Project Two...

Hey guys,

It seems that alot of people seem to be going along the path of measuring stress (an indicator of how we are all feeling maybe?!) and i think im heading down that path as well.

However, i want to focus on how the physical and mental health of soldiers can be better dealt with while employed on the front line or sent into hostile situations. In the midst of combat, general health and the psychological affects of situations can be pushed to the side whilst soldiers are forced to concentrate on a specific operation or situation. It is crucial for the general welfare of these people that they and their superiors are aware of, and recognise the effect which these situations have on the individual.

Im still working out how im actually going to measure this, but i was thinking along the lines of a personal device issued to all soldiers which monitors elements such as heart rate, brainwave activity and pulse, to come up with some assessment of the soldiers personal wellbeing.
Seems like i have a lot of medical-journal reading ahead of me!!
