Measurement - Help and Advice

Ok, so here we are in a nice, ambiguous brief. What are you doing to do?

Well, in class we identifies three main questions that will help you decide on a direction, and also take the step into idea generation:

1. How would knowing this measurement/information help someone? In what situation, who are they? What do they do?

2. What are the inputs to your device to make it work? This will obviously vary significantly between projects. Your task here is to research indicators - medical literature for stress indicators, technical literature for GPS etc etc. This will give you an idea of physical size and human interaction.

3. Speaking of human interaction, How will your design communicate information? Many people are using this project to design a product that gives us information in a more meaningful, human way - the invention of new units and systems of communication is a good way to look at this project.

hope this helps. Also, read other people's posts this week - they will help you think!
