This the direction i have decided to head. I am producing a unit to be used by the law enforcement to quickly and to a point accuratly measure a persons fatigue level in order to establish whether he or she is fit to drive. The basis behind my product is iris expansion and contraction. The unit works by being placed over a persons eye, from there they are subject to numerous different light burst and the twin iris scanners are then able to measure the persons iris change due to it being exposed to light. This technology is already in use in the military to an extent but what im trying to achieve is a hand held device which is simple to use and create a fast out-put for the police officer. I have decided to measure the persons fatigue level by unit. Example, 1 = fully awake and 0.8 = 80% of fully awake. With this the officer can quickly find out a persons fatigue level, for the iris cannot be controlled by the person driving, hence if you are tired the iris cannot lie. In terms of form im still developing it but this is where i am at so far.

nice looking product, however it doesnt really look comfoortable to hold
adis
love the shape!! Ergonomics could be an issue though but i can see some clarification in the drawing but i guess the model will help with that. It looks like it may be awkward to hold. Also have you taken into consideration the different widths peoples eyes are apart? for example bononculas have the pivot so it can be adjusted to suit anyones face. Does your product incorporate something similar? I like the aesthetic very much. Interesting technology also. good work ryan. Cya soon
