coz i need to use the lathe which can't be used until next week, i try to make my sphere manually and it looks like this and
its not perfectly round.
i'm still thinking of how to put the speaker.
it is supposed to be on the top of the sphere. but is it better to just poke holes or put a sticker?

wow - pretty rounded considering thers no lathe. Maybe try out holes on one of your mock ups and stickers on the other one?

really nice finish. especially the definition of the division between the two hemispheres. i agree with holes for your speaker. less stickers the better - a little tacky.
