very cool model, it looks great up against the wall. in terms of the lcd screen try placing either printed paper or just black paper behind a bit of perspex or clear plastic, it gives a cool depth to it + the glossy finish.

The model looks like it's coming along well. Ryan had some good ideas about the lcd screen. You could also use a piece of plexi glass over a piece of printed off paper. I would cut a place for the glass in the model, if you choose to do this, that way the screen would fit smoothly in it. I hope this makes sense.
