Slinkee Refined

Hey Guys, this is my final radio refined foam model. obviously there are still a few things which need attention including the finish which will be sanded back a little bit and also the componenets need to be added (drawn and stuck on) but other then that this is how it will look. I have added a second model to the sqaure one which is the contoured one which was an idea i had while doing the main concept. I thought it would be a nice idea considering to add in a slightly different design option which hadnt been explored but which i thought of while making the main idea/concept.

hey Kieran its looking good,
more interesting than your first design. The slinky components look cool. Would it be possible for you to still change the shape of the body? I think the curve does add too your design, but it clashes with the sharp square edges of the square slinky parts. You might want to consider rounding the edges of the squares or making the curve on the top of the main part less server.

Have a good one. Tim

it's different when you're actually constructing it ay? i like the way you chose to make some modifications throughout your modelling process. nothing negative to say i guess but like tim said, maybe round the edges off slightly so it doesn't look so square? but overall, your model is looking great!

hey,
i like how you showed the progression of your form. Interesting to see what the middle bit turned out like i am curious to look through your sketch books to see how you came up with this shape, because its something i didn't consider in my brainstorms. This radio should look even better too once you put the buttons on,are they going to be flat or protrude? can't wait to see it in 3D

Hi Kieran, I think it is great to show the progresson of works just as Nev said!!! There are still some room to play with the shape. Do some practice ones to get the right curve!!Good work!
