To whom it may concern (since it’s not signed!) I have a creative 7.1 sound system and it had a neat control to stick to the computer case which looked identical to this! Although some might view this as a negative thing, I think it’s extremely promising that you’ve designed and assembled something that is so professional in its shape and form that it was actually produced in an industrial scale sometime ago! I often do stuff like that and find out it was done before (I admit it, it does shows a lack of research) but it feels pretty good! Now on with the design… Pros: interesting shape, creative holes, I saw you do it in the workshop and you did it in a snap (thumbs up), the parts have the potential to match closely (only a side view can reveal this bit), nice looking cylinder on top, I like the blue glow effect, looks wicked! Cons: pretty pointless to comment on the first model as it will not give you feedback on areas that need improvement on the final piece (this is where we were last week), awful images it might help if: you choose a better background, focus on the object, use better lighting, use a better camera and ROTATE the images before you upload! Oh and are you sure all the parts will fit in there?
thnx for the feed back jeff. Yeah bad quality i scaled it down to lowest quality to share it via msn i will post a good quality picture of my final design later next week. i think the parts fit in quite tightly. sorta drew my exploded view and it can be done. not and engineer so im guessing that i might have to make it a little bigger. Again thnx for the feedback really helpful.
Hey Joseph, i saw you working on this in the workshop and could see the shape was taking on well. I am interested to know what areas of you ur model you think u will refine for your second model. I think the placement of all the interface parts (volume, tuner etc)is well done so i suppose it may only be adjustments to the size and perhaps some stylizing of the body to do for your final version? It might also be interesting to show your model next week attached to a suitable bag so we can see how well it fits and its relative size. Goodwork so far!
hey, I decided to comment on your model because i think the form is eye catching i really want to have a play with it, maybe in your next photo you can put something else in it as a frame of reference to its size though. I think this would explain the radio better. -Nev
