Here's my first attempt at making my radio in 3d. As you can see it didnt go well, apart from the top bit which i thought was good considering i didnt use the lathe thing. I have used some sharp woodchips to hold the radio together. The 4 leg things are the hardest things to make as they all have to be the exact same and fit in well between the upper and lower parts of the radio. I will also use the lathe for the final model, which i havnt been able to use recently, to do the top bit and the bottom.

Hey,
Woodchips to stick together........Nice! It’s a really unique and cool design. It looks great however the surface finish could be a bit more smoother. Try using a series of sand paper grits. Start from small numbers and progress upwards. I use a 100, 240, 300 and 600 in that order. If your sanding by hand, go in one direction (not back and forth) and take light passes, let the progressive grits do all the work. Do the same on the lathe also and your future model should turn out Sweet As Bro.

it looks kind of cute...
well even though the perspective is not to accurate but i think u did a pretty good job considering you make it manually.
i think for the inverted dome you need to used the driller.
but try to drill it slowly and make sure you put the foam nicely and try to put a bit of wood between your foam before clipping it.
