Measuring device for Visual Appeal

ok guys so here is 2 soft models of my product. they are slightly different, mainly in the thickness and outer radius. The hardest part about this was trying to work all the moving parts in foam. tip: the thinner you go with your design in foam the more chances that when u create moving parts that the force as you push the wire/toothpick will pull and create holes in your perfectly sanded product.

in the photos i've placed a compact makeup mirror to show scale. as one of the specifications in the brief is for the product to be slim and able to fit into a pocket or hand bag.
enjoy.

hi kaitlin, i think your soft model looks very great. it's very simple but i pictured your model to be a bit curvier. so perhaps you might want to try moulding it so that it fits nicely in the users hand :)

Very good model, it reminds me of a clam shell. How does the hinge system work? How would the model close with out it opening if I was to turn it upside down?

Anyways I like that you put extra detail like the colour paper to create a greater visual impact.
