Assessment criteria for soft models next week

Hi Everyone,

So next week the models are due. Please bear in mind that these are
'soft' models, and as such are more about the size, form and usability
of the product than colour choices and material finishes.

I'll be looking to see how your design embodies the task you have made
for it - the measurement, and also how appropriate it is for the user.
Some of you have specific user groups and others are more general, this
will of course be taken into account.

To take some words straight from the brief, you will be assessed on:

Quality of your model(s)(30% weighting)

Degree of originality and cleverness of your design solution. (70%
Weighting)

The second model for this project will be finished to a higher standard,
and will take more the place of model/prototype/mock-up and as such will
have been painted, have more moving parts (if appropriate) and have more
accurate representations of materials.
