I'm sorry but the post I made last week was of my final model so there's no change. The feedback I recieved was positive about the shape and the interface. However I should make the whole thing a little smaller, depending on how much space the components need. And to add a line, or lines across it to break up the surface.
Incase you're wondering what this is then:
This is a desk ornament to sit on the desk in a job interview. The control side faces the interviewer and the other side; (microphones) the interviewee. The whole unit will be black and the coloured panel is the display which would only be turned on after the interviewee exists the room. This tests for levels of enthusiasm and truthfulness.

i think the product needs to be a little more geometrical or symmetrical to hide it from "pointing at" the interviewee. actually i'm a little unsure whether you are trying to "hide" the product from the interviewees so they might behave more naturally or maybe you think it's ok to make the interviewees feel monitored cause that's how they would feel anyway and hence the device can be a bit more "blunt". maybe you have decided on that and you just need to make you design reflect more clearly the direction you are taking.

hi,
if that coloured section is to be the lcd display, is it probable to produce this product using curved lcd screens? would this be too expensive?
I haven't done any research on the topic, but its just something stood out to me.
the final form does look very sculptural though, just make sure it isn't too eye catching or the interviewee could spend a little too much time looking at it ;)
