Model building

I had started to get the form of the unit, but since I wanted to simulate the interface I've designed, I was presented with the challenge of making holes in the top surface to fit dials.
 
Started carving them out by hand because we thought the drill press would tear up the blue foam...until Mario proved us otherwise as you can see on the scrap piece.
