Hey Guys...moving away from the cars, this is a desk designed by Kana Todaka, which was showcased in VIVID. VIVID-Vibrant Visions in Design- is an exhibition held for young designers around Australia...and is currently at the Melbourne Exhibition Centre if anyone wants to check it out.
Anywho, this desk caught my eye with the simplicity of the overall design. It's a simple, stand alone item, combining two everyday objects (ie. a desk/table and a chair) into a funky piece of furniture. It seems to be moulded to imitate natural elements- it reminds me of an ice cube,
especially through the use of the smooth white finish.
