I think this idea lacks the ability to communicate with a global market (users). It’s probably targeting the East Asian segment of the market (which is quite a large portion). I personally am not much fond of chopsticks and I can’t relate to a plate as a case/monitor.
Instead I liked the “External Touch Screen Concept” on the mentioned website!

yeah.. it does say on the submission brief its targeting chinese buyers. i like the idea, its creative and different. you need to use a personal skill for using this bit of technology which is great because now days you can pretty much look at a piece of technology and it will do what you want. if people learn how too use chopsticks to use this product thats a benfit to the user. also using chopsticks is good for the brain/ co-ordination skills. i really like the zig-zag slide cover for protection/ convenience (ie.dont need to open a flip lid on a bus/ no seperate parts)
