Week 06 Post

Here is my poster for the radio concept. I tried a Bang and Olufsen theme for this hero shot. I also used the bright yellow color for the body that usually creates a sporty look in such products

impressive.

great composition having the central focus point all about your model and its form. just wondering.. did you spray paint your model black or just touch it up using photoshop?
keep up the good work.

so are african-american girls more sporty? jokes bro.

wow....looks good...
you really ahead of anyone...
how did you make the background for your hero shot?
i like how you edit all the colour for your radio in Photoshop it's interesting and i like how you position it.
but don't you think the radio is a little too big for the model hand?

great work jeff~!
the color is very effective with the combination of the liquid ink image for the background brings out the product to its audiences ~
the overall hero shot / presentation ~ is very well planned and layout ~ using the person on the left, holding the radio gives a approximate estimation of the size ~ or scale of the radio ~ as well as showing the user how it is meant to be held or used ~

overall very impressed with the work :D

Thanks for the comments (for most parts anyway)
To answer the couple of questions in order of appearance :))… Luke: No, Yes (definitely) – Yani: Photoshop, NO!!!! Hand to radio size ratio is right on the money, don’t even think about going in that direction girl!!!! Beichen… (what… no questions :? ) thanks for the analysis bro ;)
To all you lovely folks out there… post something commendable already… I wanno comment :D Cheers

Interesting feed back, I too am disappointed with the lack of clarity the image offers on the blog.. However this is not a result of poor skill but rather the technical issues I faced with creating the Shot purely in illustrator and trying to then create a working Jpeg through photoshop. I resorted to simply opening the image in paint and saving it from there... hence the mediocre quality.... the design was aimed at the subtlety between the radio and the background to create and stylish and elegant appearance... Whilst the orange is there to contrast this subtle nature and bring a portion of buoyancy to the design. I'm incredibly impressed by your background, I would like to know how you create such an effect. My only concern is the design of the radio itself; the corpulent nature of your design might need to be refined, with regards to the ergonomics surrounding transportation and the desire to continually hold a the radio like an appliance. I would be intrigued to here the reasoning behind your decision.
